I hate to just throw together a post on such a wonderful trip, but time is such a precious commodity that I better just settle for a quick and concise recounting. For more pictures and information, check out Groovingrandparents.
Our trip really began with a visit to Jon's office (more on that to come). We spent the following day with my parents. The camera was well packed, but Mom took some pictures of us geocaching and visiting Talia's great great aunt and great great uncle at Whittier Wonders.
Here we are at our house in Balboa (preparing for a walk). For a few days, there were 19 of us in this 4 bedroom house. It was noisy and fun!
Here are some pictures of us at the playground.
How did Talia like her first solo flight?
Quite well!
That night we enjoyed watching Mike graduate (with honors) from seminary. Again, the camera was well packed.
We celebrated Jon's birthday.
Talia even got an early birthday present from Uncle Brian, Aunt Jennifer, and her cousins. She loves her baby!
Why is Talia so excited?
We went to Disneyland!
Talia found Nemo...
And chewed on her socks.
Talia scoffs at fast passes, prefering fast naps.
Talia had fun with her baby cousins...
And her big cousins.
She ate junk food...
And went on Dumbo.
She stayed up late...
And fell asleep in the car.
Back at base we went geocaching...
And bike riding (you'll have to check groovingrandparents to see our bicycle built for three).
I enjoyed boogy boarding with Sophia, Elliot, and Emmae.
Talia went on her first boat ride.
Grandma took the girls to The American Girl Place where we ate...
And shopped!
The trip was wonderful! Of course there are more pictures of Talia and her sweet cousins in our Flickr album.
