Earning Her Badge
Because of the busyness of the last few weeks, I am definitely behind on blog updates. Talia achieved an important milestone two weeks ago. I will let her shirt speak for me.
My attempts at photography leave much to be desired. Talia's shirt reads, "crawling along."
We marked the date of her first awkward but successful crawling movements as May 6. Within a few days, she was a confident and happy crawler. Now Talia crawls, moves from sitting to crawling (and the reverse), and is pulling herself up onto her knees.
Two weeks have brought about amazing changes in her life and, consequently, ours. Talia is happier and finds plenty to amuse her. Mommy and Daddy are busy training and monitoring her. Gone are the days of washing the dishes while Talia plays happily in her rainforest. By the time I rinse the first dish, Talia has crawled accross the room and is about to enter the kitchen. It is a joy to watch her move around the room to play and explore. Talia melts my heart every time she turns away from her toys and crawls to my feet. Needless to say, play pen time has become extremely valuable.

Tears of Sadness
Our hearts are breaking. Please pray for my dear friends Joy and Joel. They lost their precious baby, Jacob, in his sleep yesterday.
